Roasted Asparagus

Really simple. And it’s my favorite way to eat asparagus because it concentrates the flavor.
- Asparagus
- Olive oil or coconut oil
- Whole unrefined salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
- Drizzle a small amount of oil over the asparagus spears and roll them back and forth to coat each spear with oil. It should be a very light coat, not dripping.
- Roast for about 10 minutes, or less if you want them al dente (a bit crunchy).
- Sprinkle with salt and serve.
These are wonderful hot out of the oven, at room temperature, or cold. You can also add any kind of dressing or sauce. This is a basic cooking method.
