Debra + Larry Do the Rice Diet—Day 19

Debra’s Blood Sugar: 301 up 166 points over two days eating out
Debra’s Weight: 228 gained 2 lbs eating out over 2 days

Larry’s Blood Sugar: 188 up 166 points over two days eating out
Larry’s Weight: 243 gained 3 lbs eating out over 2 days

We modified the Quickstart Day a bit by adding an unlimited lettuce and green onion salad with a fat-free mustard-honey-vinegar dressing. And a few green olives (less than 5 grams fat—the only fat of the day)

BREAKFAST
Rice-and-fruit.

LUNCH
Rice-and-fruit.

DINNER
Heirloom lettuce salad with green onions, green olives, and mustard-honey-vinegar dressing, plus rice with coconut aminos. Plus strawberries later in the evening.

We were really happy with this combination. The salad really fills up the plate and it’s a nice change from the sweetness of the fruit. You could also add cucumbers to this salad, or mushrooms to the rice and it would not be any less effective.
